Life is getting busier and this is just the third week of my working life. I haven't started teaching yet but the clerical works that I need to do is enough to make me feel so tired. I have a few request that I need to finish by this weekend, especially Stephie's, since her site's anniversary is coming soon. However, I'm glad that many of my jobs requires me to use the computer keke~ so I'm happily doing it despite the hassles and difficulties =.= I've uploaded so many things in my other sites especially empireumma and shinpanda and today I uploaded two texture packs on deviantart. I also uploaded a brushpack, which I supposed to update here in my CONTENT page but decided to put it later because I'm saving my broadband limited quota because I've used up so many when I watched Idol Show and MBlaq's Hello Baby last weekend XD

As you can see up there was the preview of my third brushpack, called Notedd with double Ds.. lol.. random. I enjoy making them but how I wish I have a scanner so that I can hand-draw the brushes instead of digital-draw them. You can download it here. have a great day!

I've been chatting with my cousin, Malik and I realized how proud I am with him. He's one genius boy who starts using the computer at the age of three. He learns how to troubleshoot and repair the computer since he was young! Assembling the separate parts of the computer is something that he can even do in the dark =.= I've been guiding him through website designing and development since he was 9 years old and now he is 13, and I can say that I am proud to see his progress. Even though my sister said that he is the "mini-me" because his style is just like mine, but that's maybe on the design-wise. Among the many others whom I gave out the basecodes, he is the only one who managed to develop it into something that is different from my style. He has this habit of changing host and moving sites, and I am sure once he get his own domain, he will have to stick on that domain forever! haha~ He owns two sites : LittlePanda and Panda and so far, he managed to handle them both pretty well. He knows how to create good affiliation and whatnot. I hope his site will grow and his skill will be better than me. It is rare to see guys doing this kind of thing and I am happy to see his progress and see how much he enjoy doing this.

Man, I can't believe I made a special post just for him! and of course, it falls under D-Chazz because I just want to promote that I collaborated with him for an upcoming freebies on his website. I've made a Taemin header and he will do the coding and I shall let you know when it is up at LittlePanda ^^

I can't believe it's already February and this is my first blog on Feb! -Sigh- Being a teacher is so challenging and I just have to accept the fact that I need to work hard so I have to give up on being online too often. I need to prepare lesson plans, write reports, do the attendance check and all that. More or less, I am glad that I am now having a proper job. I promise myself to work hard because with that, then I can achieve my dream ^^ I am now on a four-days break so I will use it to update all my sites. First thing first, change my wallpaper to M.Peror! I miss those days when I always bug the members by replying to their Twitter even though they won't reply me lol.. but now, I can only update my own status and bamm, the internet went off =.=

After wallpaper, I made a bunch of stuff for each of my site and finish the Tumblr coding since last week. Tumblr hates me for moving away from home and it never let me load. FloricNoise's new layout is in progress and I don't feel like uploading Dorkistic's new layout. Maybe I will change them all in one day.. For D-Chazz, I've uploaded 4 character tempates and I tried on one of it which you can see below:

Finally, I get to edit my layout and it is now wider and cleaner? lol. I didn't change much of the layout except for a few CSS attributes here and there. This time, I'm featuring Hyunjin of X5. After the awesome years of 2010 and 2011, where I've met all my to-meet idols, my next list would be to meet Open World family, and also Touch. I was planning to feature Jaewook (picture above), the new member of Touch, but I couldn't find a suitable picture, so I changed it to Zin. I'm glad that I've finished designing all the layouts, and I am now working on the coding. I've got 13 layouts to code and it is fun because most of them requested the simple design (which is code DD01 and DD16). I will make sure to send them out before my CNY break ends this Saturday. It's ending too soon! I want to stay home longer! heuuu~

The header is pretty simple, but I'm proud to say that I'm using my own textures on it. Lol. At first, I felt awkward to be using my own resources to create graphics, but then, after a while, I just got used to it. I like how Zin's image look so HQ but then I ruined it by throwing in random textures and text everywhere on the banner, kekeke~

I also made two wallpapers to be submitted to Deviantart. The first one is featuring Zico and Minhyuk and the second one features 4minute. The 4minute PNG was so big that it took me almost an hour to cut. Usually, I will resize the image that I want to cut so that it will be around 900x900 but this one is like 2000px! however, I'm so proud of that 4minute picture because I also retouched it a bit before saving it into PNG since the original image is a bit dark and blurry.

Three of the sites that I'm working at is on hiatus and even closed for good. There goes the good sites. I haven't seen any new sites which are pretty well managed, as also good in quality. It's tiring to see sites closing and opening so soon. I hope my sites won't have to face the same problem, not until the domain expires at the end of the year (for empireumma and floricnoise) until then, I will make use of it and work on the content. FloricNoise's revamping took a while. I am using PHP and I am installing this script for site listing and it's not working =.= I want it to be off Blogger but I don't know... maybe I will search for a better script and install it there. The worst is that I will be using Wordpress since WP has the site-listing script ready to be installed with just a few clicks.

It's 4:49am and I'm still wide awake. I don't know why am I still awake since I didn't even take a nap during the day. I can't even look at Photoshop anymore lol. Need to take a break before I start ruining the requester's designs lol. I randomly browsing Youtube for Block B's Tell Them's performances and I even came across Xander's "I Just" MV. To be honest, this is the first time I'm listening to it and the tune is good but since he's a rapper, so yeah, he should stick with rapping only lol. Nice try anyway, Xander =) I hope you will come here again so that I can meet you.

Man, I really am an old lady because I can't stand this compact layout lol. The content area is too small for me lol. I don't know how did I survived reading the small fonts when I used this same compact style back in 2010 for a layout featuring U-Kiss. I guess I will be changing this layout very soon, to something more simple and comfortable for my own viewing needs.

And I guess I need to force myself to sleep because we're off to my aunt's house tomorrow, and then sending one of my cats to the vet. I leave you guys with an edit of Infinite that I made just now. Some people did a good job in using bright colouring on their images, but I guess I'm not that "brave" to do that because I'm afraid that it will ruin my idol's face lol. For that image, I need to retouch it first because it was a scanned image. So I need to erase the scanlines first by using masking, and blur tools, to make their skins smooth and flawless and then I use Levels to adjust the brightness, followed by Selective Colours. And of course, again, I forgot to save the PSD XD it always happens to me. When I don't have any intention to create PSD, I always forgot to save it even though I came out with a colouring that I like =.= and here is the original photo of it, in case you would want to edit it.

I've been making Photoshop styles for a while just because I'm lazy. Lol. Usually, when I found a style that I really like, I will save it into .asl extension so that I can use it again later. Last night, I decided to share them with others. I am sorting them out into themes and names and I have uploaded my first Photoshop Style just now, on Deviantart. Photoshop Style is something like action or PSD, where the extension is .asl and you can use it on almost everything, especially text and shapes. It is a combination of blending styles where if you click on the style that you like, it will save your time to actually set the blending option into the style that you really one. Uh, I don't know how to explain it tho, lol. I shall write a tutorial on it later. You can download my first style here Happy Chinese New Year!

After twelve hours of coding, falling asleep, typing names of my students, I finally completed this layout. The header took me only 10 minutes, including making the textures, BUT the coding took me forever. However, it turns out looking so basic despite of the hours spent on it. This layout is a mixture of my few other layouts and it looks a bit small, isn't it? haha... I hope I will keep this for a while before I decided to change it. Or maybe I will just change the header XD I am using full CSS this time, I think~ haha XD I don't know if you can notice it or not. Oh, time for lunch! bye!

19012012 - Alive

I'm alive... indeed! haha~ well, mentally and psychologically unstable and I keep breaking down. This is not homesick, but rather a culture shock. Only one week and I am so tired in my head. I can't complain tho. I will be here for more than two years and I have to cope well sooner or later. It would be pretty hard at first because I am the type who needs time to adjust myself to the new environment, especially when the people around me here are pretty loud and it hurts my ears to hear them talking so loud most of the time. Last night I made a few new textures and so funny that I fall asleep while making the last one. I'm so thankful that there's internet connection here and you don't know how touched I am to see you guys commenting on my posts. I guess that's my only source of happiness here.. Yesterday I uploaded 3 Texture Packs to Deviantart and I'm so happy that people are downloading them, especially Pack number 13. It is a bit messy because I'm trying out a new style of making textures, which is using shapes, rather than blending them. The colours are bold too~ I can't open FTP sites here so I will probably be active often on Deviantart and finishing the site's request. My free times are spend with making textures...

The graphic up there was made using one of the textures that I made yesterday. The textures will be available on DA and Shinpanda very soon ^^ I realized that I love to use flowers and lights as my major concept of textures XD I shall bug my sister to take more pictures of nature~

I apologize for not updating yesterday. I received my posting result and I will be sent to Johore. (4-5 hours drive from my hometown and I don't know which school will I be sent to. I have to report myself there on Monday. By then, I don't know if I can get any Internet connection. I have to announce my hiatus by Saturday (since I'm off to FT Island concert on Saturday evening) and I will only be back once I settled down in a school, and get myself a house, which can be around one or two weeks. Therefore, I have to end the game today.

Since I didn't upload a picture yesterday and I have to end the game today, so there's 3 treasures hidden in this post. 10012012 : It's Wednesday!

I seriously need to go out and get a life. When I wrote yesterday's post, I really thought that it was Wednesday 0.0 Designer's block alert! I haven't update Dorkistic's status because then I have to start designing their layouts when the fact that I'm pretty much blank right now. For the past three days, I've been making PNGs and that's it... and oh, some textures. I'm running out of stocks already since I've used all the pictures that I took with my phone. Again, I have to go out in order to take random pictures. Oh matta, our scanner has been fixed! Okay, sorry for this random post. I'm pretty much having lots of things in my head that I can't think. I can only sort them down as I write it here keke~

So yeah... Some changes : final treasure will be put up Saturday, 14th of January 2012 so that there will be 10 treasures altogether. I will put it up before I went to the city. FT Island can wait lol. How to compile? A few options for you. You can choose which one that suits your likings.

1. Crop them into 100x100 icon and put them all on a canvas so that it will look like a pack.

2. Put the all in one folder. screencap the folder by clicking "PrntScr" and paste it on MsPaint. Make sure all the treasures are visible.

3. Compress the treasure into a ZIP/RAR folder.

Or if you have your on way to compile them, just use it as long as I can see that you have collected all the treasures, and I can see them.

No artwork this time. So I just show you one of the PNGs that I made today. Keke... obviously there will be extra Cheondung and Seungho XD

09012012 : So it's ending soon~

It's ending soon. The Hidden Treasure game is ending soon. I'm off to Kuala Lumpur on the 14th of January so I won't be able to upload a new treasure. Therefore, the game will end on Friday. I will post a detailed instruction on how to compile the treasures tomorrow, and will start accumulating the points (ah, numbers!) Lucky that I recorded it every day so that I won't get confused. So far, there are six treasures uploaded, so if you haven't find them all, keep searching. The list of the blogpost containing the treasures is in the HiddenTreasure page.

I've made two simple colouring tutorials and now I'm confused to where should I post it. Nope, it's not a video, it's a written tutorial. So I guess it should be in AwaitingLove eh? Ah, I'm hungry!

Oh oh, Arom's new website is up! I envy her for managing to keep her sites look so organized by combining them under one site. Just like AwesomeNoobs. However, I'm sure I'll be lurking on the Graphics area more XD Click to visit!

Haha, don't get me wrong. It's the banner I received from Comelet for filling in their survey. Weekend went very fast and I didn't do much online. I ran out of idea for FloricNoise's new layout and am thinking of using the banners that I made last year, but I never use it XD Wanna help me? Why don't you help me by choosing from these two down here?

The first one.. I think you might have seen it somewhere. OTL, it's from the Infinite set that I made and I've used Woohyun and Sungjong on my other sites and I still have Myungsoo and Sunggyu unused. The second one is made out of boredom. In fact, the first banner that I made before the "unused collection" started growing after it lol.. so, which one should be on FloricNoise's new layout?

07012012 : Makeover

Feling geekish at the moment. lol. I've posted Article 4 : Website Development which is the second part after Article 3 and I am excited to publish the final part tomorrow. I have almost 5 articles in queue right now and it is all under the topic website management, which I hope the other webmasters will read when they have free time. Writing those stuff is not a way of showing off, but rather, I would like to share this little knowledge with everyone. I don't know how long my sites will last, and when that time happens, I'd love to see other sites are running very well and perfectly organized. Kids nowadays are so brilliant. Owning a website at the age of 12! When I was twelve, I was so busy....uhh, learning Piano, preparing for the Primary School Level's State Examination AND fighting with my siblings! lol.. we did have computers back then and the only thing we did with the computer was playing Wheel Of Fortune and doodling on a software called "PaintBrush". You guys probably haven't born yet at that time lol XD

Finished 4 requests, and 1 more to go before the weekend and I'm going to have a huge makeover with FloricNoise. I'm going to have a mass promotion and to those with websites, get ready to be spammed! Lol. I'm tired of receiving spams (including challenges promotion, pledge for more staff, etc) and now it's time for revenge! mwahahaha -insert evil laugh here-

I'm going to type very quick since I'm having a headache right now. The weather is very hot and I hope it's raining very soon. We have been in this hot dry weather for four days already =.= So, I have uploaded the two freebies for Dorkistic and I like how both layouts turned out to look simple but neat. I'm focusing more on the header, rather than the CSS because I'm coding from scratch, so I don't really remember the extra decorations that I should put on both layouts. I hope people will like it and they will have more downloads. So far , Hoya's layout has received the most downloads, followed by Trouble Maker. I am thinking of making one layout which looks like my portfolio but I don't know if I can do something similar again haha XD Who to feature next? I have no idea! haha~ I'm off to code the layout requests and hopefully I can send them out tomorrow ^^

Remember that yesterday I've made a wallpaper? This morning, I made two new wallpapers which I randomly made out of feeling bored. The Internet is fast, but I don't feel like browsing, so I just picked a few pictures and turn it into wallpapers. My posting result will be out soon, since I already passed the interview. The Ministry of Education will call me to inform which school I will be sent to. I feel like I'm rushing myself as I got the feeling that I will be sent so far away where there is no decent Internet connection. If that happened, I will have to sacrifice my sites and put them into hiatus, which I don't want to. I'm gonna miss waking up in the morning, checking the emails and talking to my dongsaengs and daughters. Let's pray that I will be posted near home so that I can still use this high-speed Internet that daddy provided keke XD

04012012 : A Wallpaper

Hey guys, how was your day? It must be tiring for the first day of school, isn't it? Anyway, have you started working on your New Year's Resolution? One of mine is that I want to update all my pages everyday or at least once in two days. It might seem pretty hard so I want to start with my Tumblr and my DeviantArt page. I should have started early but I forgot about it so I uploaded one wallpaper today. It is featuring Orange Caramel and I'm so proud that I didn't depend on outside resources. As what you have read in my profile, I must say that I depend a lot on textures. The textures are such a big help for my artwork and of course, they are not mine. So many talented people have uploaded their resources and I downloaded it. However, this OC wallpaper used everything that is in Photoshop, aka the defaults. I used the default grainy papered texture and the round shape, and then I used a lot of blending option on the text. I think I've succeeded on making those dotted pixels that I used on the writing, instead of searching on Google. Enough babbling, take a look at the wallpaper below:

So, what do you think? Is the colour combination okay? Any suggestion to make it look better? I guess after that Shinee wallpaper I made last time, I became interested in making wallpapers with less decoration and textures XD The PNG is obviously from ShinPanda. Kekeke~ Tonight, I'm uploading around 15 new PNGs to that site. It will include 2PM, JYJ and some SNSD members. And I need to find Super Junior pictures to make Icons for EmpireUmma too ^^ Arom showed me the preview of her upcoming layout and it's so nice! the colours are cute too! It's January and many sites have changed the layouts too~ Who else are changing layout? So I'll talk rant again tomorrow... have a nice day!

03012012 : Hidden Treasure

Hello yeorobun! How are you doing? Good? firstly, I'd like to say thanks for liking my new layout. In fact, I'm glad that you like it that I don't feel the dizziness anymore.. haha..After putting this layout up, I decided to make one for AL and I managed to upload it after five hours of working on the coding. I hope you will like that one too ^^ I'm pretty satisfied with my latest two works and I hope I can incorporate the new styles in the requester's design after this =) I realized that having the "catalogue" for the user to choose from actually gave the requester the option for them to choose whatever style that totally suit them. I hope I won't be too busy as the school is opening tomorrow, or else I have to close the catalogue and the users only have one or two options of layout style -.- Oh, speaking of which, I am trying my hands on "i-frame" again, but only for Blogger. I remembered making one for Wonderbinnie and I had a very hard time because I can't really remember the script and code to hide the boxes XD I might come out with one sample and will ask for your opinion about it ^^

Oh, now I remember what I want to say when I plan to update this. I'm planning to have a "Hidden Treasure" game. Well, it's not a game.. it's actually a gift to my dear visitors. I am so thankful that people come and visit me here as well as my other pages. So, I'm going to have a little game where you can get yourself a bunch of resources. Yep, resources. Well, you might think that you're not a designer, but no worries.. The grand prizes is for you to choose! At the end of the game, there will be one ultimate winner who collected the most marks, and you can choose the prize!

02012012 : New Look

As what I've been bragging on my AFF Blog, the new layout is finally up. It was such a tiring hours just to code this layout. It is using the most basic coding from our catalogue, which is DD01, and you can see that I tweaked and twisted it a lot. Well, not really. Just a few tricks here and there XD I am pretty satisfied on how it come out on my actual blog, although the facts that I'm not used with using so many colours. Minimalist is still the main concept, and it looks complicated when I added the colours, and an unnecessary hover style on the title header lol. How do you like it? Do comment about the new layout and how I can improve it. With this new layout and new year, I hope that I will interact more with my friends here, and keep my comment box active ^^ I love receiving comments keke~

Last weekend, I made three Blogger layouts and 9 Twitter background to be added to Dorkistic.Net. However, I am yet to code them because I got tired staring at the layouts on Photoshop that I'm taking a little break before actually coding it XD Want to see previews?

The Internet is BACK!!! phew, it is hard to live without the internet especially when you have so many requests coming in. I feel bad because some of them requested for Xmas Layout and it's almost new year already =.= well, I'm ready to re-do them all since it's my fault anyway. It is sad to see the layout go without being shown, but I can still add them in my portfolio, right? And I'm quite nervous because I'm afraid the requester won't like it. Since I can't upload the layout on time, I got bored of most of the layout and decided to re-do it.. yep, ALL of them. I hope they will like it~

So I've checked out my email and I received a bunch of new requests. Man, I need to hurry up and finish them before Christmas. I'm sure they are expecting their layouts to be done by that. I will finish three or four and send it straightaway and hopefully we will be back home early tomorrow. We're going to town to buy some stuff. Well, mom and dad told us to go with them. I've updated my sites and now it's time to rant here.

I wonder why didn't the visitors join Ravenous' Xmas event? I hope many people will join because it shows how we love our affiliate and the fact that we are supporting each other. I always try to join all the challenges organized by my friends or affie. Well, maybe graphic and designing challenges, not writing, haha~ It's fun to join them and I do it not for the award, but for the sake of promoting the site. Back then, the winner's site will be written on the award and also be displayed on the organizer's site. It's a strategy of promotion because people will tend to visit our site after they check out who the winners are. At the same time, I enjoyed making the graphics and of course meet new friends who also joined them. I will be joining the Secret Santa, Mural and Xmas ornament event at Ravenous and this is one "failed ornament" that I made just now. It's kinda messy and I will repair it here and there, make one for each X5 member and submit it to Sensei..

Like I've stated in the previous update, I'm now diligently making lots of content to be added to all my sites since I haven't updated for almost a week. Hint : see the divider I'm using up there? hehe~ You can find that and more at EmpireUmma.net later. Right now, I'm making more PNGs, while helping my sister doing her video to be submitted to KBS. Yep, she's joining the Year End Event where you have to sing/dance to one of the Mbank 2011 Chart winner and submit the video. She's singing CN Blue's Intuition and I'm in charge of harmony while the youngest sister is the director. It's 1:00am and I hope no one would knock out door tomorrow and report to our daddy that we're being too noisy XD It's fun to do this and who knows after this I won't be singing cover alone XD

So far I have 4 request from Dorkistic and a request I just received from Ravenous. Will work on them tomorrow, once I'm done with my sites. I noticed that a few webmistress are planning to open more than one site. Well, all the best. Make sure that you know what you're doing or else you'll just wasting Blogger's disk space. Having lots of site is not easy and if you care to much about how many visitors are coming to your site, then you should think again about opening a site. You need to know the real objective of you opening another site. Was it because you want to be famous, or was it because other people are doing so.. Funny to see how some sites are trying to have so many things in their sites (like resources, freebies, etc) when they can't even finish their graphic request on time. Even though you can see so many graphic sites out there, but if you ask me, I would say that the only good sites are less than ten. Those are the ones with dedicated owner and staff. Not many sites are able to do that. Just wait until January and I bet some site will be on hiatus since school started for Malaysian students. Sites usually appeared a lot during summer break and then in winter, everyone will go on hiatus and never come back~ How I wish there are more dedicated sites out there...

I'm not feeling well today.. Having a bad headache since I woke up and now I'm feeling very weak. I will just code the once that I've finished designing and will upload them first tomorrow and then will finish the remaining 3 requests. I also made a few stuff for the other sites too and do check them out tomorrow because I'm going to sleep early and hope that I'll feel better when I wake up later.

I'm going to type this very fast and go to sleep~ haha.. So the internet decided to be a bad boy and I can't upload stuff through my FTP so I started coding the free layouts that I made for Dorkistic.net's download section. So I spend the whole day today just to code three layouts and then upload it to my site. It is surely a challenging thing to do and now I realize how awesome BlogSkins is. Well, BS is awesome, but the newbies there are... well, not as fun as the senior people there..haha XD Maybe I won't receive as many download as I got when I use blogskins, but oh well, it's the passion that counts. You can see in the layouts that I tried very hard to use colours that I seldom use before and I guess the one that I really like is CL's version and I guess people will like either Hoya or Trouble Maker.. haha XD So yeah, now I will go back and finish the request... I'm all awake after typing a few words and I want to finish everything before Wednesday since I think I will be going to see Xander, Arron Yan and Hao Ren on Friday! weee~

So I've made 3 blogskins and joined two icons challenges from Dreality and DreamStudio. I don't expect to win since there are so many good entries there! But oh well, I'm working on my icon-making skill and so I shall join it to see if it is worth an award or not lol~ I will add the icons to EmpireUmma and also Deviantart. I wrote an article today for AwaitingLove but I end up deleting it because it gets emotional and it sounds like I'm nagging, rather than educating.. -emo ahjumma-

Last night I changed the layout at Fai and I realized that I don't have a name for that site... it's simply called FAI after my real name lol XD so yeah, it's hard to think about what to write on the title header so I wrote there FAI:Inspired since I always believe that I was inspired by so many people and those people are the ones who give me strength to my every day live and they were the angels sent my God to keep me motivated.. ^^

Totally makes my day! lolol~ So for the update, I've completed my request at Ravenous as well as TopHeadliners and I'm pretty satisfied with the forum header that I made for T-Ara Malaysia. Well, I guess it's the longest I took to make a header since I don't know what to do with that picture. After a few blending option scrolling, the header suddenly looks like a HEADER ~~rather than a piece of thrash~~ to me and it makes me happy ^^

I also made a poster request received from DD, and I guess I have to apologize to her for not making a fully decorated poster. I think, by just blending the two characters, Nichkhun and Victoria the poster looks perfect already and I don't want to ruin their perfect look by throwing in random brushes XD

Guys, get married for real!!! lolol~ okay, off to update other sites! ^^

Wait! Don't go away! this IS D-Chazz's new layout, not her October's layout XD hee.. don't kill me for ruining your imagination of having a bright X-massy layout. Thanks to Sensei who suggested that I feature either DBSK and JYJ. Well, I've been planning to feature Yoochun when I saw his black and white pictures in one of the blogs that appeared in my Facebook timeline. It's been a while since I use a black and white image on my layout.. to be exact, since my first layout. D-Chazz's first layout was in black and white style, featuring Choi Minho, and here I am using the same colour again with dark red. How do you like it? I hope you can view it well in your browser because I don't know how it looks like in other browsers except Chrome, in 1366x768 resolution. do let me know if the layout looks out of place in your browser.

So, as you guys might notice that I've been opening and owning so many sites, right? Bring the Preppy back!

Yep guys, I'm addicted to preppy banners. Well, this is not something new. Back in 2004-2006 when Dorkistic is mostly about Myspace layouts, I've been making preppy styled layouts but not like the one I made up there. I am not into preppy sign because I think it is hard to make. However, I've been experimenting these days and I fall in love with it! All I need to do is to be creative and brave enough to play with colours and gradients to get a BOOM preppy sign XD

On the other news, AWAITINGLOVE is now online! I will move d-chazz there and it will be a site full of my old artwork as well as a little resources for you guys. Stay tuned and I will announce its official opening soon!

Up there are basically my to-do list for today. I've sent out all the requests, while receiving two new ones. Honestly, the previous request batch is pretty challenging. You know that we have 17 layout styles to choose from? and everyone is requesting for different styles! haha... sick! indeed, it's a challenge for me and I totally realize how crazy I was when I decided to do it that way! lol.. Ambitious much eh?

The other problem is regarding image hosting. I found imgur.com being the best one but not for large images. It turns all the layout into .jpg which totally ruin the quality so I found postimage.com but ~~hell~~, it's so problematic that my requesters came back to me saying that their layout is not working =.= but thanks to Melinda who gave me lists of other image host which I can try. Do you have any suggestions? What is your favourite imagehost and why?

And now that I've finished the request, I need to think about my own layout. I've uploaded the frontpage of Dorkistic's sub-unit where all our free layouts and un-picked layout will be available for public. Y'know what, it took me more than 3 hours to design and code it and that's the result. So disappointing. I mean, I believe that I can make something better within those hours, but yeah.. maybe I need more inspirations.. =.= now I'm in the process of adding the pages, and sorting the old layouts and choose the best one to be uploaded there.

as in for D-Chazz, I actually got a new layout for it... but I think I love this layout so much that I decided to keep it that way, OR maybe changing the picture there? I'm still thinking.. IF I get the new layout done (the coding is the problem. I'm trying to use full CSS), I might upload it soon..

And to those who didn't read my AFF blog, I uploaded two banners which I feel proud of them because they're animated and it took me a while to get the effect. For some of you who are awesome, you might see how basic my banner is but it is HUGE for me XD Especially the one featuring Jiyong. Will I be able to achieve such effect again in the future?? Check it out :

A new Leaf~

It was supposed to be a sad day because one of my cats, Kopi went to see God this morning. However, I believe that God loves him more and He wants Kopi to be with Him up there. Kopi, don't be naughty and go find Zico and Milo there~ You know I love you and I want to be strong and I won't cry that much. Please pray for us from up there.

And I guess, there's always something good behind it. I can't be sad for long because Latienza is back! If you're a reader of my oh-so-long-gone story, Behind The Limelight, you will notice a character named Latienza or L and she's one of my dongsaengs in this graphic community. Yes baby, she's one of the first generation webmissies back in 2009/early 2010! Her site is UntouchableDesires. She's coming back and I hope more senior sites are coming back especially Teri Unnie (unnie, congrats on your third baby... Dean will be a very handsome boy in the future!), ShadowYin, Angela, 3minut3s, Phebs, Jojo, and so many others. Ahh, I really miss them! There's nothing crazier than spamming each other's cbox with spazzing and wishing lucks to each other until we got confused to whom we actually send the messages to XD

I don't have English class this week so I've been browsing around, searching for ideas to teach the students for the upcoming class which is next week. Teaching Grammar is always the biggest challenge for me because I always go straight to the point without games and all =.= I need to read more and study more about it..

Being Responsible

I posted a blog on my AFF today by listing my to-do list for today and thanks to Angela who made me realized that I actually have more sites than I can afford. Few months earlier, I've been sending applications to so many sites and entering so many domain giveaways hoping that someone will get me out of blogger, and may God bless you, I received not one but a few offers to get my site hosted, and I even won a few giveaways too. So far, I have seven active sites, one awaiting for approval and one is in the process of uploading. And that doesn't include Deviantart and Tumblr account which I frequently updates too XD I might seem crazy but yeah, managing websites makes me work out my brain. Managing sites makes me work hard in improving myself, being a responsible person. Having so many sites means you have to spend time with them fairly, and I have to update all of them regularly to prevent the site from being deactivated. I should be very thankful that I have a few domain sites which people gave me for free and I should be thankful most of my sites are hosted outside Blogger. I hope I can maintain all the sites longer than Dorkistic.Net and I hope everyone will support me all the way with all the sites.

Hnnnggg~ I need that magazine as well as the album T______T How I wish I'm at the college right now because it will make my life easier if I were to order the album as well as asking someone to buy the magazine for me hnngg.. The last time X5 was featured in a magazine, they totally showing off their legs and then they went a bit quiet, giving a way for DGNA to have a comeback and now as DGNA is preparing themselves for the 4th Japanese Single, I'm sure X5 will take over the stage very soon too! Looking at the pictures, there's nothing much has changed with those tall boys, but DGNA's hairs are all messy! I can't imagine how Love Days will sound. I hope something cheerful but not too jumpy like Love Bingo! Gehehehe.... Oh, I've exceeded my posting time! I posted twice today! weehee~

Dying DayDay

You see I've been working on the request and at the same time making some PNG (look above) when my computer decided to freeze and hang on me. I have to force shut down without even managed to save everything. There goes the layout and Nana's PNG up there =.= But oh well, it's all my fault anyway. I didn't switch off my laptop for a few days straight and didn't even put it into sleep. I've been so "dedicated" in making resources and layouts to be uploaded in Dorkistic.Net

Audax-Hosting accepted our application and the new sub-site of Dorkistic is up! well, just the "coming soon" banner tho XD Visit Here. This will be the new home for our layout downloads and it is not only blogger but it will have tumblr, domain, twitter and even the new blogger template layouts! I hope I can finish the requests soon and I can focus on making that site.

New Layout?

I can't believe that I'm using one of my blogskins on my own layout again lol. This shows how lazy I am! -hides- I've been pretty busy since last week with school, because tomorrow will be my last day teaching at SAMTK and I have to settle lots of thing, including marking students papers, as well as key in their marks in the database. I'm still alive and updating my Daily Blog often. I will be back to revamp my portfolio site with my latest artwork and project. I have to track down all the awards I've won but I don't think I can find them all lol~ I guess I need to join more challenges just to promote Dorkistic.Net. We're kinda relaxed these days with minimum request per day and that gives me chance to update my other sites too. Below is my latest artwork submitted to DeviantArt. It is just a random stuff I made because I like the font which I currently downloaded and that's my favourite B1A4 picture ^^

Man, no wonder not many people download this layout on blogskins. Even though it looks neat, but it is actually hard to edit. I need to come out with a better stylesheet BUT I also have to be extra careful because so many codestealers these days. Kids, it's either you learn the hard way, or learn Netiquette or just quit Internet. Editing the header doesn't made you the owner of the layout. In Blogskin, we even have to credit the person if we're INSPIRED by their layout.

Hoomeeehhh, Hello everyone! I haven't updated my page for a while! The internet is acting badly and I'm kinda busy with school. It is now the final exam week and I am in the middle of marking my students' papers, while preparing lots and lots of exercises for my Form 5 students as their SPM is coming near! Few days ago, I uploaded a cover teaser. I'm so crazy that I decided to make a come back and I will be covering four songs which are B1A4's Only Learned Bad Things, U-Kiss' Someday, Teen Top's Brushing and Block B's Tell Them XD You can find the teaser on my youtube account. Today, I got some times to upload stuff on shinPanda, replying messages at Dorkistic and updating my portfolio here. I will be having a huge revamp for this site as well as my other sites and I am working on new layouts too. I still have few more request to finish and then I will get back to you here. I've been listening to their albums EVERYDAY! It is not easy to be a teacher and listening to them gives me some motivation, especially when my students are the same age with Ricky and Changjo.. uh, I don't even know what's the relationship between those XD I got class tomorrow and I don't know what to teach! hoomehhh~

I hope to buy the latest album very soon =) I think my cover for the first album is better than Beautiful Girl from their Roman album. I want to cover other songs there but since I am now working, so I can't do any cover... Enjoy these covers! ahahaha~

SHINEE WORLD

Today's sample is featuring Shinee! It looks simple but it takes more work in retouching it. First, I need to create the "frame" by using dry brush which is available in Photoshop, and set the outside area to transparent. And then, the tedious work to so-called retouching their faces by using mask, and add gaussian blur to their face to look more "angelic" cheewah! and last but not least, the coloring, which, since I was too tired editing their faces, I just use Selective Colour and change most of the color available there because the original picture has all the colors there XD That's it! hahha... and this picture received 63 reblogs on Tumblr. Tomorrow will be a busy day because we're traveling North to Sungai Siput, Perak! I will be back to reply your messages and comments and of course, sending off all the requests =.=

-checking out left and right-Hiyaaaa everyone! I guess I'm back! lol.. the past few weeks have been very hectic for me. With schools which ends at 2.30pm and then I have to clean the house, I hardly have time to update anything. I have to finish my requests only at night, and I can't even stay up or else I won't be able to get up at 5.30am for school XD However, even though the request is pretty slow, I really hope that they are patiently waiting for it. I am doing my best to meet all the criteria listen in the form. I enjoyed making them even though there are times when I actually running out of ideas on how to design it. I guess, since 2006, I've designed almost 500 layouts? yeap... maybe... since we received a total of 300+ requests every year since the website is opened XD Here are two posters that I made for a requester at Lemon Swirls. Yep, besides Dorkistic.Net, I also work at other sites as poster designer. I would like to explore something different because I believe that designing a layout and designing a poster needs two different skills. What do you think about the posters? XD

Counting down to Saturday, I decided to put up an old layout that I coded few months ago featuring one of the boy who will be performing in KMW2011, Teen Top's Ricky! So I don't have any class today because Form 4 is now focusing on their SMA exam and Form 5 is now having their trial exam. So I just spend my whole time in the staff room, making simple notes for my students. When I got bored, I opened the Photoshop but it would be awkward if I were to edit K-pop's pictures since I'm in school. So, I just edited the pictures taken by my sister when she visited the Red Mosque of Putrajaya and I even coded them into PHP layout. I will be moving to a new host in October for my daily blog and D-Chazz will solely be my portfolio where I dump all my artworks. Maybe I will stay at the library tomorrow, so I got extra privacy to finish the layout request. hehehe~

Jajannnnn! my first evel vexel art!!!!! lorlllll.. please laugh with me! kekeke, Soohyun ah, noona mianhae for making you look even uglier when you already said that you're ugly XD Vexeling is so not easy. I gave up using pen tool and just use brushes to do this. Seriously, I admire those who can draw very well. All my other siblings can draw. My sister drew Dujun and Dongjun while waiting for me to finish my assignment. She did it in just one hour =.= and my brother is so good in scribbles. Me? I just know how to manipulate images in Photoshop.

Life has been pretty hectic these days. I am stressed out. I broke my fourth mouse just now out of anger =.= Now I need to find a new one. -sigh- another delay in finishing request =.=

Dorkistic has been nominated at Karan's Webbie award o.o Thanks to the angel who nominate us. Personally, I feel nervous because, to nominate means I need to improve my site and keep it alive. However, just like what Kitty said, if you love doing it, you will find ways to spend time on it and I agree with it ^^

Nothing impressive yet since the last time I left the group two years ago. I'm pretty disappointed but decided to not give a damn anymore and just watch them from far. they've grown up and they should learn something at least. Yeah, back to my title post, JYJ is back with a new MV In Heaven and I am very satisfied with the music. The arrangement is not that complicated, but it is something with quality. The only thing that I like after the separation : both groups are working hard to produce good music. and I'm in Ryan Jhun's line. He might be harsh, for dissing Kara for being unworthy no.1, but I know how he feels. I admire his boldness, trying to open the eyes of the fan to at least appreciate the music and not merely the butts

And I covered a JYJ song last year, and when I listen to it I realize how bad my English is =.= No wonder I'm more comfortable in covering in Korean language! hehe XD

Hehe, just a quickie. I need to go back and finish all the request soon XD Look! my seobang and my son! I really love this picture from one of the Japanese magazine. They're holding the only flower that I like, the sunflower! Lol, I'm excited that I'm going to see them again next week for the Korean Music Wave live in Malaysia. Dongho is my favourite member since the cornrows era and Soohyun is someone I admire for having such a good voice and the ability to be a good entertainer. The incident during their first fanmeeting in Malaysia in 2010 put him on top of my bias list. I was so star struck during the high-five session that I just bowed to all the members and the second last person was Dongho. I greeted him by saying "Dongho ya" and he just smile a little and said "neh noona!" and the starstruck moment made me walk pass the last person without greeting him. However, this super nice person called me back as I heard someone said "heyy!!" and I turned around to see Soohyun waved at me. Yes guys, I forgot to greet him so I rushed back (before any bodyguard can shoo me away), ran to him and high-fived with him. Lol, since that, my sisters and my friend call me Soohyun's Wife who forgot about her own seobang. =.=

The next time I saw him which is in June this year, I was glad that he stood at the farthest right, which made him the first person we greet (and if I forgot to greet him again, I should never call him my seobang anymore!) And this time, I managed to say hello and hnnnggg-ing in front of him and he did the same (if fan screams, he will scream, if fans jumping all over, he will jump so I hngggg he hnnggged together XD) and shook my hands and pass me their Bran New Kiss CD. I am waiting for another fanmeeting (for their Neverland Promotion) and I shall do something sane in front of my idol.

For the record, I never get to do anything sane in front of any of my idols:
1. During Romantic Princess' promotional tour, I confessed "Saya sayang awak" (I love you) to Wu Chun despite of telling every one that my favourite Nan Feng Si is Eric Li XD

2. During Fahrenheit fanmeeting, I spoke to Wu Chun instead of Jiro, despite of all the Mandarin phrases that I've memorized because Wu Chun recognized me from our first meeting two months before and he spoke Malay with me. Sorry Jiro!

During the fanstalking of Fahrenheit on the same day, Jiro was being pushed on the wheel chair in front of me (with no other fans around because they were already rushed to the front towards the other members). I didn't take any picture, but instead, I just bowed, insa and said "get well soon".

3. During U-Kiss Without You FanMeeting, I forgot to greet Soohyun and he's the one who reminded me to do so.

4. During ZE:A fanmeeting, I was too scared to talk to Siwan that I just bowed to him, and Taehun hugged me and said "I love you" and I replied him with "thank you". I'm pabbo. I know =.=

5. During Jay Park's fanmeeting, my sister was too excited to see Jay that she just threw our gift bag on the floor beside Jay instead of handing it to Jay. I should have picked the bag and give it to Jay but instead, I just laughed.

6. During U-Kiss Bran New Kiss fanmeeting, rather than being excited to see the boys, I was so excited to meet 8tv's Baki Zainal XD Soohyun ah, Dongho ya, mian!

Tomorrow's a holiday olleh! hahaha, I've never been this excited! lol XD Today was a busy day at school but at least it's not a tiring day for me. I haven't update for a few days but I guess if I write in, then it would be on my teaching stuff. Well, I hope I can finish all the requests tonight. Look up there, I made a new PSD! I love how it turns out, especially when my fave group is back with new single on my saengil month ^^ BUT what's with Hyunmin's outfit??!! So ridiculous! and Mika should change his hairstyle maigod! lol, but I like Injun and Kip's hair and Karam looks a whole lot younger! XD Thanks to Sam who gave me link to their HD MV XD Oh, back to business. What I want to say is : I forgot to save the PSD =.= So you can just look at the Before and After and admire it hehehe~

My sisters are home and one is so hyped up with her blog, which she's actively updating EVERYDAY. Check out her header. The reason why she's so hyped up. The other one is so excited with the super high speed Internet that she doesn't know which site to visit. She's now acting like a brat, asking me to buy her a dot COM domain for her blog Ahh, the room will be noisy again for two days! hehe~

Birthdays and a new Baby

Thanks to those who wished my birthday yesterday. I really appreciate them and I indeed needs all the wishes! haaha... what a bad day today. I almost hit my students when I'm driving out of the school. Partially my fault for going out during the peak hour and partially their fault for not using the pedestrian walk provided for the students. I'm so scared!

I spent the past two hours uploading the layout of my new baby, Shinpanda@Haneuri. I want to try FanUpdate as suggested by Kitty, but then I need to learn MySql. Since I need to upload the site soon, I am using Cutenews at the moment. I got to use PHP as well, thanks to Re-Dream for the PHP tutorial. I still need to upload all the stuffs but it's now almost 2 in the morning. I have two 2-periods classes tomorrow and it will be a tiring day.

Today's class went pretty well for 5B and 4D but it was quite awkward for 5D; probably because they're not used to an English-speaking teacher. Or maybe their mind is focusing on their trial paper tomorrow, so I don't really blame them. Looks like they already have their mindset of being good in Islamic subjects only so they are not that interested in English. Let's see what shall we do in the next classes. Compared to 5D, 5B was more energetic and active. They ask a lot! I guess, they already expecting me to come to the class today. I enjoyed chatting and exchanging information with them about the school. I will only have one class tomorrow which is a single-period class with 4A. Still thinking of what activity should we have for a short period of time. Ah, since Fatone is back in the uni, mom, dad and I divided the housechores among us so it is less tiring ^^ Umma appa saranghae!

And I would like to have a special shoutout to James Bourne, Sheena and Krystle who'll be celebrating their birthday tomorrow on the 13th of September. James Bourne is my idol next to Tom Fletcher and I missed the time when we exchange birthday greetings when he was still in Busted. James, please come back soon! And as for Sheena, we never meet but we always text each other and sharing the same birthday put us into this special relationship together. This is not the first time I'm using my own blog to experiment the new layout I uploaded to Blogskins. Haha, how do you like it? It is just another simple layout which maintains the neatness of the overall site, but at the same time, showing off your biased idol as a header. I hope people will like it and download it as well. It's after four and I need to sleep. I have so many things to do tomorrow. Yesterday was a hectic day because so many people come to my house for Hari Raya. We're expecting more people to come today, and I'm in charge of the food so I need to make sure the foods are always ready for the guests. I think I don't have nothing else to say. Bwa bwa!!! I'm so excited! I've received my requested wallpaper from Unrequited Hope! I feel like bringing my laptop around the house and show it off to my family! hahaha... now I can't wait to go to the Korean Music Wave 2011 next two weeks! I think I'll cry when Jungmin performed XD I haven't got time to write yesterday because I was so tired that I fell asleep while cropping a Girl's Day picture! ekekekeke, being a teacher is not easy eh? I am now working on the request, and then trying out the PHP thingy before uploading it to the new site. I am now writing an everyday journal of my teaching experience in this school. I did write journals from my previous schools as well but I didn't finish it XD I am now determined to write in every day. At the moment, the blog is still in private. I will put it on public later. FIRST CLASS

So today I had my first class with 4D and I just love seeing their surprised faces lol... I went in after their first period teacher left and they all stood up and greet me in Arabic. So, I just go on with it and tell them to recite the do'a and then sit down, in Arabic as well. I heard them whispering among each other "this might be a new Arabic teacher who will relief our English class today" kekekeke, and then I told them "starting today, I will be your English teacher, replacing Mr. E and I hope we will co-operate with each other and have fun in our English class" (I said that in Arabic) and bammmm, there goes their "ah, a relief teacher" face and all went O.O lololol~ Nonetheless, I had fun teaching them today, well, more like a ta'aruf. They have to introduce their names by adding an adjective to is (for example, Evil Erul) and this is fun because towards the end of the class, I can hear them calling their friends by their adjective names hehehe~

From that activity, I can see their level of English. 4D is the fourth class and I don't expect much, since even the first class, only one person scored A in their Mid-Term's English paper. One of the boy wants to describe himself as being "buffy" but instead, he wrote there "beefy", and the other girl went as far as describing herself as "exuberant" and having a very hard time to pronounce it when she actually wants to describe herself as a "cheerful" girl. Malay-English dictionary really makes it hard to them. It is good that they can discover new words, but those big word frustrates them and makes them give up using English as soon as they can't find the words that they actually want to use. However, I forgot to ask them to write a reflection for today's class.

Later for 4A, which I entered for their final period, they went through the same activity but with a slightly higher level. They have to write five adjectives that describes themselves, and then I took their books and distribute them to their classmates. Now, they have to write two sentences containing an adjective to describe the owner of the book. It was a very hot day (the class is at 1.20pm until 2.20pm) and everyone is tired already. However, I received pretty good responses in their reflection notes that I ask them to write at the end of the class. Out of 31 students, one person still find the class boring (because she honestly told me yesterday that she hates English) and the others find the class interesting and different from their previous English classes. I will reply their comments and I will use the comments to improve my teaching in the future.

I'm having a one-period class with 4D tomorrow, and I'm going to teach them (more like revision) to write sentences. This is the continuation of today's lesson where tomorrow they will use the adjective and put them into sentences. I will only teach them according to the scheme of work starting next week because I still need to check their book to see how far have they learnt with their previous teacher.

Haha, looks like you will read lots of "educational entries" after this! hehe~ overall, I am satisfied with today's class. I found myself being nervous at the beginning of the class because I'm still clueless with the "status" of the students; it's hard to tell whether they enjoy or like the class. My previous students from previous schools were more honest and I can tell right away whether they like or dislike the class. Hopefully, I will get to know them better and plan good lessons for them. ^^

Ahhh, I missed my online friends whom I chat with every night XD

Replacement Teacher

Today, I started teaching at SABK Tanjong Karang as a replacement teacher. It feels good to get to contribute back to your former school, and at the same time, the pressure is still there. I have so many things to tell but I'm feeling a bit too tired mentally and stomachally lol... (a.k.a stomach pain) I still have few more request to finish and will upload them all this weekend =) I have no idea what to teach tomorrow, but I think I might go through the rules, and then check their books to see their progress~ To Kitty, I am waiting for a good news from your Masters application, to Angie, I'm sad to see JJSJ go T_____T. Nanae, that new name is so cheesy that I couldn't even add it in my friend's list!! lol... Nana Unnie, have a nice Thursday tomorrow and good luck with the show's training! I'm used to writing starting from the back cover of a book. I don't know why but it's been a habit since I was in high school. Probably because I studied in an Islamic school where most of the subjects were taught in Arabic and we write from the right (hence we start from the back cover of an exercise book). But this book which I bought a while ago at Kinokuniya have this huge bear right at the center of the page so I decided to write "normally". Why? because my other habit is that I will write on just one page and will not write at the back of the same paper.. uhh, got it? yeah, so if I write from the front cover, then I won't have to write using the page with the bear in the center. kekeke XD crazy eh?

Confession of a Webmiss

I guess today is just another bad day for me. However, I was surprised that I'm not alone. So many tweets from fellow designers who complain how the requester didn't respect them in terms of requesting, handling the posters, and some even steal the codes from my affie's website! They're so rude! Stealing codes, stealing ideas... that's just unacceptable! Just because one very good site have offered resources, it doesn't mean that you also should offer resources and expect to have as many download as the good site. saenggakeyo~ Try to come out with original idea for your site, and that will make people to come back, not by stealing from others. I hope those good sites will not give up and will stay strong because you guys will always be the best! I know how it feels because it happens to Dorkistic so many times and we even feel so down that we feel like closing down the site. However, after a deep thought, we keep on giving out free services because if we give up, that means those bad people is superior than us. Hwaiting awesome webmissies!

And I've been very active today. I've been finishing request since yesterday and I uploaded them already. However, I still have 4 to 5 request to be finished by tomorrow. It's already September and again, it's time to do affie check for Dorkistic. As for Shinpanda, the progress is positively moving ^^ It's a bit awkward to upload directly from the computer (used to do this when using webs) so I always have to be careful when naming the pages, arranging them into files and all that ^^ I need to buy a new book where I can write in all my planning for all the sites that I manage XD The old book is almost full XD

Hey everyone! I hope you guys are doing fine =) Today, we are celebrating the 54th Malaysian Independence Day and it's also the 2nd day of Eid celebration. I'm sure everyone is busy attending the guest coming to their houses or visiting your relatives. Well, we've had a very tiring first day when relatives came to my grandma's house non-stop! So tired because we need to run here and there adding more glasses, filling in the cookie jars, preparing more drinks, washing the cups... but that's what Eid is about. Today, Kitty is celebrating the Eid as well ^^

Thanks to those who likes my new layout ^^ the tiredness from coding the layout just washed away with those lovely comments and suggestion. I've added and edited necessary parts for this layout and I hope everything is working out fine. I've been browsing around for hosts these days, as I'm inspired by the fact that some good sites only accept affies with own/sub-domain and they won't accept the free hosted sites. There are a few sites which I admire and I would love to befriend with them by applying to be affies, but being in free hosted site limits me to do so. I'm now working my head out by reading articles and tutorials on anything related to blogging via self domain sites. I hope I will be accepted into this one hosting which I applied because the domain is the transliteration (is there such word?) of my Korean name ^^

While browsing those awesome sites, I realized how close they are with the affies. Every time they posted something, they will receive comments on each post and the cbox is also flooded with greetings. How I wish the community we have now can do it like that as well. No offense but I have more than 50 affies in Dorkistic and when I came to their site to say hello and have affiliate check, only 5-6 replied and keep in touch. Well, I personally think that such attitude might be the main reason why they didn't receive many request ~~and yet they are complaining about it~~. Isn't being affiliated means we're being connected with each other? What's the use of affiliation if it's only for you to "collect" link buttons or to just follow other sites because they have the affie page. The only time they come by is either when they have new layout or they are in need of more staff. *long sigh*

On a brighter side, I received my first ever SOTD in Blogskins!. People might say that Blogskin is dying (or already died) but that's the main platform for me to upload the free layouts that we are offering at DD. Well, to break the secret, I'm actually moving the layouts somewhere else in case Blogskins really dies XD And it's not the SOTD that matters, but to have DGNA being featured on it! hehehe ~ This is the preview of the layout =)

And I also made another layout which was inspired by my portfolio, by having a "minimalistic" concept and it is featuring G.Na! Well, not a fan but I just found her picture in my folder and decided to add some coloring and then turn it into a layout. I hope people will like it =) Will make a few more before uploading it @ DD.

Wah, it's raining outside and I'm feezing! I'm now chatting with LaurenLCD and we're trying to fix her layout. I hope we can come out with a solution soon X.X

I believe that this is the longest coding I ever made. I started coding this at around 3 in the morning (while chatting with superseoul11 of Jojoshinji), stopped at 4 to cook for sahur and continue again until 7am and then have to do the housechores and back doing the final touches at 8.30pm. It's tiring but this is what I've been wanting to do; a clean site with minimum header and it is being centered in all screen resolution. I tried to use full CSS but then I just can't leave this cute colors and some extra stuff being added to my page. I hope you can view it fine. The content is still being fixed and the cbox is on the sidebar's link. I would be very happy if you can use the comment system of Blogger to comment tho XD I will be back at midnight to fix the content and if there is any error exists. Zico is really sick. It's sad to see him lying weak in the kitchen. Please pray for him to get better soon.

FEW UPDATES

I'm feeling guilty with myself for not updating this site for a while. I've been pretty caught up with finishing request, as well as working on Dorkistic. Dorkistic Design is now known as Dorkistic.Net, thanks to Kitty of Nekonette who get the domain for us. I'm so thankful with that and to celebrate it, Angela and Purple of Comelet gave us a bunch of surprise gift and that includes a new layout for Dorkistic! I seriously love it! I hope I can repay their kindness someday.

On the other hands, I've been browsing a lot and I also made so many PSD coloring files and just now, I've finished uploading a few PSD which makes a total of 63 PSD files in my DeviantArt's gallery. I'm so proud of it and I hope I can upload more resources because all these while, I've been downloading other people's resources, so now, it's time for me to contribute something to the designing community. Below are two of the PSD that I uploaded today. My next mission is to make PS Action and then reopening resources section in Dorkistic.

Eid is coming soon but I don't want Ramadhan to end so fast. Tomorrow will be a very busy day for us because we're going to have a massive cleaning for the special day. Obviously all of us must help our parents with that.

Today I bought new batch of stickers for the phone charm. I've been very busy completing the requests from the school students and I easily got bored looking at the same design and today I bought plenty new ones ^^ I hope I can open my online shop very soon!

Wow, this is totally a "few updates" and they're short and rushed. I am feeling sleepy, so I need to sleep before I wake up again at 4am to prepare for early breakfast.. until then!

Promoting, Procrastinating

For the past few days, I've been working on my site, Dorkistic, promoting, updating and trying to brainstorm for a better DD. I think the dashboard of DD is so messy since it is filled with posts since 2006.. If i were to make a "spring-cleaning", it might took days! But I'm determined that I'm going to have it cleaned before I get posted. And yesterday, I've been trying to cover a song and I realized that being a singer is not easy. I haven't made any cover for more than a month and it is hard to get the correct pitch and key.. Even the warm up needs hours! and by the time I get the tune, I was exhausted. Or it was just that I've gained too much weight lolz~ I will try to record it again today and see how it sounds.

And rather than trying to learn PHP and FTP, yesterday, I tried to code a layout that will look fine in GC, FF and IE. Most of the time all the layouts I coded will look crappy in IE. So I tried to use the old coding that I have in my blogskins (which way back then were coded in IE) and then added the container and all and this is how it looks like:

The top one is viewed via IE, thanks to Stephie who viewed it for me on IE ^^ and the other one is viewed in FF. Sleepy Sunday

I fell asleep last night without realizing that it's almost four. When my alarm went off, I went downstairs where I supposed to prepare for the early breakfast but I don't know why, I felt so sleepy that I continued sleeping on the sofa! I ended waking up at 5.15 (imsak is at 5.45am) and I think I did everything via auto-pilot keekkee because when I fully woke up in the afternoon, I was wondering what did I ate for sahur, and who did the dishes and all XD kekeke~ So, today, I'm going to sleep early so that I can have a little rest before waking up at four.

Oh, mom bought this little drawer for my phone-charm's accessories! hehe, now everything is pun into one single case and it looks neat. Daddy is buying a table for me to work on my handcraft stuff and I think it will arrive tomorrow ^^

On a serious note, why do I feel less motivated to watch K-Pop? I don't feel like browsing around reading news, updates about my favourite idol, watching their videos and performance.. hmm.. midlife crisis? hahha.. local wannabes frustrate me much! G'nite!

Well, not really busy.. just tired XD I slept early yesterday and lucky that I still wake up early to prepare for sahur. For the first time, DayDay hang on me.. my fault that I didn't switch it off for three days kekekkee. It's now working fine I hope. Today is a busy day because I started working on DD since 7 in the morning by doing some advertisement, site updates, affiliate check and few other stuff. I'm happy to see people being active again in our Cbox. I need to brainstorm new ways to advertise because if you simply do the normal advertisement on the cbox, people will get annoyed easily XD I am now on Twitter as well. I never been this active on Twitter but I feel the need to interact with our affiliates and friends there. Thanks to Nana Unnie who handles our other account XD

What a Day~

Today is a public holiday in conjunction with Nuzul Quran and everyone's home. I woke up a bit late (hehehhehe, because I didn't sleep last night) at around 9.00am to find out that mom released all the cats and they were playing in the house. I quickly cleaned their cages and then went upstairs and played with Mun. His mom moved him from my brother's room to mom's room few days ago and he seems to like it because it's bigger and more space to explore. Later on, daddy and I went out to buy all the necessary ingredients to make Spaghetti. It's my turn to prepare the food for our breaking fast at 7.30pm. I also bought new beads but not so crystal, new on-demand stickers and a small notebook for me to jot down all the activities especially the money's in and out for my business. Seriously, I don't know how to run a business so I just do all the craft stuff while mom o the selling and sister do the counting XD We are receiving more and more request and we're planning to open a booth during my mom's school's Sports Day in late September. I hope I'm still available at that time to go and sell those cuties XD

Ninechan finally uploaded the new layout for NC! I'm quite satisfied with how it turns out at the end of the day. Seriously, doing request for a renown designer is so nervewrecking! so does Frenchsha. I feel bad because the layout didn't turn out as what I imagined -.- but she's good in handling the content area and it looks neat! It's featuring the super hot Minho and Siwon XD

At the moment I only have two request, so I'm focusing more on expanding my style of coding and trying to learn something new from W3School XD maybe soon I'll make a PHP layout? PHP hates me so much =.=

Indeed, after procrastinating myself for weeks, I managed to upload my new layout for Tumblr. Hehee, it's just a simple header but a pretty complicated coding. I hope it works fine at the other browsers and also screen resolution. It's randomly featuring Miss A, and I have the header since their comeback but I only get to code it just now. The coding is complicated because I'm trying to improve myself in using the #container thingy. Full CSS layout is pretty hard and I really hope it won't look messy on other people's computer XD

oh, it's already 4AM.. off to cook!

Whoa, I guess the "save energy" regime really got me. I haven't online for two days and I'm still alive! ahahhahaa XD Well, the order for the phone charm is piling up and I spend the whole day finishing them ^^ I am in the middle of brainstorming ideas for the online shop especially the pricing and all but the order kinda make me busy but I like it. I bought new designs and they're too cute! I can't help but to squeal on each new cartoon that I used. The layout? hahaha... check this out XD I might be using this for my shop but I don't know yet XD as I'm writing this, I'm finishing the request but it's almost 4.15 and I have to go prepare for our early breakfast. I finished ninecreativity's new layout and I personally satisfied with it. I hope the owner and visitors will love it too ^^

Last month, our household were shocked because our electricity bill shot up to MYR580+. We're so dumbfounded because the government decided to raise the tariff and since a month ago, we've been trying to *singing* save energy, save earth. And indeed, the new bill arrived today and we managed to put it down to MYR250. That's totally a feat! I feel proud of myself because I myself have been in the mood of energy saving. One of the major thing that I did is to go online only at night. Before this, you can see me online almost 24 hours but now I lessen it to 4-5 hours only. It's hard for a computer addict like me XD I even read books online! kekeke~ that's how I came out with the new hobby of making phone charms, and starts rereading old books that we have on the shelf. I am now in the middle of reading Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart.

Omo, so much of wanting to update this page every day! but the fact that since I started selling the phone charms, I've been pretty busy. I need to plan my schedule properly between sewing class, making the charms, housechores, and of course, managing all the sites that I have. It's fun and tiring at the same time. Today, I'm going out to buy new supplies since I ran out of crystal beads already XD Next, I'm planning to create k-pop based phone charms but it will be a bit complicated. Just a plan tho, because I'm now focusing on the normal cartoon phone charms. I wish the bookstore restock the butterfly stickers because I like them so much!

and last night while waiting for 4AM, I uploaded a few layouts on blogskins and one of them was 2PM. See how lazy I was? Indeed, when the picture is super HQ, I get too lazy to edit it and just did some coloring =.= I should show some extra effort tho but I guess they look best in that suit and if I put too many decoration, it might look ugly. And of course, my attempt of making non-kpop layout is a shilpae. Until today, less than 30 people downloaded the three layouts that I made, compared to when I make k-pop based layout. Hmm, need to work harder~

Hey everyone! Just wanna do a very quick update. I've been pretty busy. Remember the phone charms that I made last week? the first batch were sold out and so did the second one. I've received plenty of order and I am now working on it. To Kitty and Abby, I will send the "catalogue" to you once I finish the new batch so that I can reserve them for you =) I'm happy. I think I will follow mom's suggestion to open an online shop and sell them. Well, I was thinking of selling them online too so that I can raise some fund to send my cats for grooming later ^^ Having so many cats, we need to find extra income so that we can take care of them all equally and provide them with better care =)

I am now making a few layouts, and I'm trying to make a photography-based layout. There are so many kpop-based layout request emerging so I'm trying something new, well at least for me! hahhaa~ Enjoy your Sunday!

My sister and I were so hyper during our sewing class and we laughed a lot! Last month, mom forced me to go to sewing class, and therefore I went there halfheartedly. I can't believe it that one month has passed and now I'm in the middle of finishing my third creation, which is called the "baju kurung pesak gantung". It's so stressing doing something that you don't like, as I prefer cooking and home-deco than sewing, but I think the credit goes to X5. the frown we had every time we have to drive to the class changed into smiles and laughter as we will imagine ourselves designing and sewing shirts for the boys. Indeed, it works ALL the time. It sounds weird but personally, I enjoyed it here a bit, unlike my first day here. Despite all the super loud ahjummas, I find it cool when a piece of 4-meter cloth can turn into something wearable in a few days (for a beginner like me tho). My sister and I have made a mission to design and sew something and send it to X5 because they are our biggest inspirations.

Ramadhan is coming soon and I hope I can handle the challenges, especially in dealing my temper. I found myself being so weak these days as I can easily fall into tears or make faces every time something went wrong. Like today, I am pretty upset and I feel like to go upstairs and do my own thing in my room, but to think that it's not often that our family is gathered together like this, I just put aside my anger and I even eat! da heck that you told me to diet but the fact that you didn't eat the food that I bought and it's not even my fault that the waiter took the wrong order and I didn't re-order thinking that it's already late for us to wait for a new batch and you just say that you don't feel like eating when I already prepare the food on the table for you and this is not the first time you're doing it and I don't want to be a disobedient daughter and I even feel bad for wasting the food and aish now the tears are falling again and again, it is hard for me to start dieting and you didn't even help either but keep telling me to diet while asking me to cook and then not eating them and in the end I have to finish them because I don't want to waste the food and yeah I won't buy anything for you again after this and let daddy do it because you will still eat it even if daddy got the wrong order and now I think it make sense when that uncle said that I have something that I wanted but I didn't tell it and I think I have A LOT but I have to keep it inside because I believe that my other three siblings deserves the attention better than me and I should stop now and stop crying or else my eyes will get swollen tomorrow again, we are sorry that we are not perfect and don't know how to keep the house as good as you and we are not studying oversea and we seldom help you with the housework like you told the stranger who came to our house for the first time and I think that you are now acting like your friends whom you always said that you don't want to be like them but indeed you are now slowly being them

This is my pet, I call him Zico. yeah, randomly naming him Zico because when he came in front of the house asking for food, I was watching Block B on TV.. in fact, it was two days after Papi went to see God. I'm sure he's doing well up there with our other pets like Franklin, Sarabi, Opang, Tina, Tama, and many others ^^ When Zico came, he was so thin, with unkept fur and there were wounds every where, and you can notice that in the picture up there.. Mom nursed him and bathed him and gladly, he adapted himself pretty fast in the family. He is now a big brother for Milo and Kopi and he always take care of them. He's also a best friend of Pico and he will only play outside if Pico is outside. It's cute that he knows that his name is Zico and when I call him, he will run straight to me XD I love my cat XD

I just listened to ZE:A's Special Day they performed in Shim Shim Ta Pa. Seriously, they need to get an award this year! -proud umma mode- I covered that song and also the English version, which is My Only Wish. I'm still wonder why is it feels so different when I covered Special Day. I think it's harder than MOW.. When I listen back to my covers, I think it's the emotions that I pull when I sing My Only Wish. The one with background music, it sounds happy and excited, while the acapella version is more serious because I wasn't feeling well that time, so I think I forced to much to sing it and for Special Day, I think I'm too focused on singing the high part that I forgot to put my feelings in it.. what say you? But I still feel that I'm more confident in singing Korean and Mandarin songs rather than English lol...

We've decided to buy a Canon camera so that we can use it to get into Fahrenheit event in the future ^^

What a lively Saturday I have today! First thing in the morning, I have to clean the cages of all the cats (we have 11 cats in the house) and sadly, K-Jun's little baby, Bobo died today. Only two babies left heuuu~ And then, we sent mom for a session of acupuncture. The best part of sending mom is that the clinic is near 7-Eleven and while waiting for mom, Fatone and I bought so many eatables! lol.. and then going home, I have to check on the babies because this is K-Jun's first baby and she doesn't know what to do with the kittens. Books always said that cats have the strongest instinct but not K-Jun. She doesn't know how to feed the baby and she is just clueless! so we have to check on her every once in a while. And then I prepared a simple lunch before again waiting outside K-Jun's cage in case she left her babies.

While waiting, I checked on my DeviantArt and was surprised that I received so many notifications XD many people liked my submission of Boyfriend. I made around ten Boyfriend-related edits which mostly revolves around Kwangmin! kekeke~ I am now one of the contributor for Boyfriends-Fans group in DA XD

Life is indeed interesting. As I always feel that my life is boring, I could have been punished for saying so. Even though I am now staying home, jobless, while waiting for the posting letter, my everyday life is always fun. I should have realized it earlier. To think about it, I should be grateful to God that I am still breathing in this peaceful world every time I wake up from my sleep. There's always something interesting happening in my life since I finished my study two months ago. It's all revolve around me, my family and friends. Most of the time, I questioned the unfairness of life for always making me miserable and I have to do so many works which belongs to someone else, but in fact, those are all should be done by me. I realized that the more you're doing your job, putting your whole heart in it, the happier you will be, no matter how dull your life is. I've been practicing that, and I am glad that even though sometimes I will complain in my heart, in the end, I just forgot about it.

Lol, what's with all the emotions? Well, today, I witness a miracle. For the first time, I have to handle my cat who is delivering her baby. I never experience this before because usually, Nanae will handle this. However, she's away at her college and mom is asleep, so I have to take care of the delivery. It's cool to see the baby coming out and then start searching for milk with the eyes still closed. later on, another two coming out and I guess there will be around four or five kittens altogether. I'm now sitting beside the cage, and since the cage is covered with cloth, so I just sit there, peeping in once in a while just to make sure the baby is fine and so does the mother. I just can't sleep. And worst, I have sewing class tomorrow. Obviously migraine will come and I can't concentrate in class =.=

Lol, I hope people won't be tired visiting my pages (including DA and Tumblr) because I've been spamming ZE:A a lot! DGNA is now working in the studio, hopefully for a new Korean album and X5 is now in Japan and later on in Singapore along with Touch. Smash is doing very well in Japan with new full album coming up later this year. What else? ah, Countdown ti 21st July for Infinite's comeback and 26th for Teen Top. Surely there will be another battle on stage! That's what I can remember for now. But at the moment, I will spazz on ZE:A because they're back with their style and I am satisfied with this mini album. I feel like buying two copies but oh well, I don't have much money lol~

I am planning to edit my layout so that the post area will be wider since I planned to write articles. In fact, I've written a few and still thinking of where to upload it ... It's morning already~ @_@

Personally, I still feel bad for ZE:A because when they came to Malaysia last year, there were less than 500 fans coming. My favourite!!!! I first saw DGNA doing the acapella during Idol League and Kevin Kim randomly imitating the late Steve Irwin and just now I was browsing around to watch ZE:A's Watch Out BTS and I found ZE:A doing this acapella version too. *proud umma mode*

Was surprised to see them doing this but I'm happy at the same time. How they have improved over time.. I was hoping to hear all the nine voices but hardly hear it tho. It would be awesome of all nine of them doing the harmony XD

We went for an awesome seafood dinner in Jeram today. It's been a while since we eat out like that because not everyone is home. We laughed and talked a lot! Well, also sent Kayet to the veterinar because he hurt is tail. There's a big wound there which we don't know where it came from. I hope he get well soon. Tonight Zico is sleeping with me because we have to "rearrange" the sleeping place for all the cats since Kayet needs to be kept in the cage until he heals. Therefore, there's no room for Zico, so, here he is, tugging beside me while I'm typing this post =)

Made 35 icons from HyunA's latest solo project. Those up there are half of it. The other half will be uploaded tomorrow. At the moment, I'm so sleepy! I need help in cropping department! my cropping style makes the icons ugly even though I just colorise them XD G'nite!

Made this for Nine Chan. I'm going to code it tonight when I'm free ^^ Have to edit few CSS. hmm.. I don't understand people who wants to edit the CSS after they requested it from me. If they can edit, they should have made their own layout.. why bother requesting and then editing it.. isn't it wasting the coder's time?

This really brings back memories... of Xing.. from four to five to six to five again and then eight and seven.. hopefully Xing Ent will find someone to fill in Sulhu and Zin's place and make a come back with Xing 5th =) an impossible wish that I will keep hoping to come true

How do you like my new layout? ^^ It's a total contrast with the previous layout. I decided to have a dark layout featuring Jang Hyunseung my one and only So-1 lol. It's ironic that today is Dujun's birthday but I made a layout featuring someone else XD It's totally random. I just browse around my messy folders and picked Minho and Hyungseung's pictures and started editing while chatting with Kitten Halmoni and ~~aegyo~~ Ninechan. It's pretty simple right? The picture is originally black and white so the layout was supposed to be black and white all over but when I started playing with the coloring sliders, it turn out to be blue-ish black-ish XD There's nothing new in addition to this layout. I just re-arranged the content, and planning to put up "Tutorial/Article" page but I'm not sure about it yet.

I'm going to add ten Photoshop PSDs for you to use but it will come out later today. It's getting late and I need to sleep now and prepare myself for another sewing class XD

I missed Mika and Karam's birthday, but I uploaded Dongho's birthday.. and today, it's leader's birthday! How I wish I can see him during the fanmeeting but yeah, I didn't go to their fanmeeting in Sunway. Kitten unnie went there and I even told her to say hello to Baki if she meets him lol. crazy aite? kekeke... -back to business- dear leader, I'm glad to see you debuting with B2ST (~~even though I was hoping you will be in 2PM or 2AM because you're my favourite member in HotBlood~~). last week was crazy for me! i neglect my blog and Dorkistic Design too *sigh* but I'm back running lol - hopefully. Today, I finally managed to hand-code my own Tumblr's layout! rejoice!!!! oh yeah.... chincha daebak! well, I converted my Blogger's layout into Tumblr, following the tutorial given by tumblr's garden. I'm still dizzy after staring at the whole bunch of codes but I guess with a few practise, I will get the hang of it.

Oh, see that picture above? I'm so proud of it ^^ Before this, I hardly get any notes for the edits that I made in Tumblr which is self-explanatory lol XD But my FTI edit up there received 70+ notes! I'm so proud and happy! I will work hard to make better graphics and see people appreciate it =)

I seriously need to go on diet XD like SERIOUS. T___________________T jaa~
